"When my publisher told me that my editor for my novel The Opium Addict, a historical mystery sent in Meiji era Japan, would be Tasha, I, at first, was a bit nervous, if not skeptical that someone who didn't know me at all—and didn't know Japan—was up for the task. I knew immediately, when Tasha got to work on the manuscript, however, that she and I would get along. She not only met my expectations as an editor who could catch typos and grammatical mistakes, she polished my prose in places and caught inconsistencies in the plot and characters. That's what I wanted in an editor, not just a spellcheck person, but someone who understood storytelling. She improved the novel and
also put up with my constant revisions. I wrote the novel long before it was published, and, as a writer, I had changed, as had my prose style. She never tired of my revisions. I highly recommend Tasha as an editor and look forward to working with her again. James Roth. www.jamesroth.org ."
