The Discarnates by Duncan Ralston This is such a fun story!! Duncan is obviously a master at writing based on feeling rather than telling of the story. I felt the story from start to end. The characters are relatable and the world is believable… including the astral plane. I had a lot of fun reading this story. It is a quick read, fast-paced. The writing style made it easy to breeze right on through the story. It is full of mystery and the supernatural. The character development is fantastic. I was able to connect and relate to many characters. A lot of development went into these characters, and it shows that Ralston did some serious work on developing these characters. I love the supernatural abilities chosen for each character, which matched their personalities perfectly. The world building is simply amazing.
